The five stages of month end.

  1. Day 1

This month will be different. I made a checklist.

  2. Day 2

Sent Sam a friendly reminder about payroll. 🙂

  3. Day 3

Sent Sam a less friendly reminder. Lunch at my desk.

  4. Day 4

The bank rec is off by $0.37. Cancelled dinner to find it.

  5. Day 5

Found it. Home at 9:40. The kids are asleep. It reconciles.

Next close starts in 26 days.

The payroll report is late. The payroll report is always late.

What you tell Malleable
“At month end, get revenue, payroll and AP from their owners, compare each to last month, and draft the entries. Hold anything that moved more than 25% for me.”

That's the whole setup.

What else you can hand off

Chase missing receipts

“Every Monday, find card charges without a receipt and ask the cardholder for one.”

A lost receipt comes to you with the charge details, so you can decide on the spot.

Approve invoices

“When an invoice arrives, match it to the PO, check it hasn't been paid, and ask Morgan if anything looks unusual.”

Invoices under $5k that match the PO go on the next payment run. Anything else waits for Morgan.

What changed for them

"We save 30 hours a month, which by itself is dramatic for a small team. What's more important is that we now have the space to use our actual experience and give leadership guidance on what needs to happen. This lets us finally spend our time on the strategy we were actually hired to do."
Gregory SchroederController, MGT Insurance
"My favorite part of using Malleable is how easy it is to iterate on. I am not an engineer, and have previously been intimidated by complex LLMs. While Malleable uses them under the surface, the interface is simple and self-improving. It proactively drafted a change, explained it, and asked if I wanted to roll it out."
Celeste Di BartoloDirector of Operations, Pathpoint
"Saved me so much time it's hard to believe. The workflow before Malleable feels like the stone age now."
Olivia WeatherlySolutions Engineer, Guidewheel
"Streamlining our workflows used to mean building Rube Goldberg machines across automation tools, and any small change in a spreadsheet would break the whole thing. With Malleable, when something changes upstream, the workflow adapts."
Efe TorunogluSolutions Engineer, Pylon

Frequently asked questions

What happens when it gets something wrong?
Every run keeps a record of each step, so you can see what it did and why. If you notice something to improve, tell Malleable and it will update the process for next time.
Which tools does it work with?
Malleable works with thousands of tools, such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, BILL and Ramp. The integrations page lists the most common.
How do you keep our data safe?
Malleable is SOC 2 Type II audited. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it is never used to train AI models. Malleable can only reach the tools you connect, and every run keeps a record of what it read and did. Our security page covers who can see what.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start: new accounts get free usage to try it, and you don't need a credit card. When you need more, the pricing page compares the Standard and Enterprise plans, or talk to us.
